Oomphf is a powerful, high energy 6 piece funk/pop band made up of some of the most talented musicians in Brighton and the South East. Fronted by highly sought-after Sammy Sarfas (the singer in the hat), the band has saxophone, keys, guitar, bass and drums. They have played and recorded with an impressive list of artists, including Jools Holland, Amy Winehouse, Roy Ayers, Alexander O’Neal, Alice Russell, De La Soul, Nitin Sawney, Viola Wills, and Turin Brakes.

What equipment do Oomphf provide?

The band will arrive with a full PA system. On top of this they provide a high-quality lighting package which includes top of the range disco lighting and lasers.

Can I book Oomphf for my wedding?

Of course! Oomphf are a great option for high-energy live music at your wedding reception, bound to get your guests up on their feet for a dance and singalong. The band are adaptable and will take requests in advance, ideal if you have a first dance song in mind.

Do Oomphf have any residencies?

Oomphf have been known to play at residencies within the South East and are open to hire. Contact us to talk through your needs and we will be sure to come to an agreement.

Would Oomphf be able to travel overseas?

Traditionally Oomphf are booked to play across the United Kingdom, however we are able to plan their attendance outside of the UK by special arrangement. They are happy to travel for your special day so get in touch to plan their visit.
